12 Bars | 6g of Protein per bar
This recipe hits the spot if you’re craving something sweet and salty that’s packed with protein.
- 142g creamy peanut butter
- 52g maple syrup
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I use DFH Whey but you can use any protein you like)
- 3 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1 cup of melted 70-80% dark chocolate chips (you won’t use all this chocolate but it’s good to have more when you dip)
In a bowl mix the peanut butter and all other liquids (save 1tbps of coconut oil for chocolate) then add the protein powder, mix well. Press into any mold and put into the freezer for at least 30min. Melt your chocolate with a tbsp of coconut oils, cut your bars into desired size dip one side into the chocolate put back in the freezer for 5min then do the other side, I like to get the sides as well. Freezer for another 10min before enjoying. I keep mine in the freezer.
